One of the standout features of Café Cognito is its commitment to quality and freshness. I’ve visited a few times now, and each experience has been equally satisfying. On one of my visits, I opted for the avocado toast, which came with a perfectly poached egg and a drizzle of tangy balsamic glaze. The bread was toasted just right, and the balance of flavors was spot on. For something heartier, their burgers are another fan favorite-juicy, flavorful, and always made to order. If you're a vegetarian or vegan, Café Cognito has you covered with a variety of plant-based options that are just as delicious.

But it’s not just about the food. The service at Café Cognito is exceptional. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to ensure you have a pleasant experience. It’s evident that they take pride in what they do, which makes all the difference in creating a welcoming environment. Café Cognito is also a great spot for anyone looking to enjoy a relaxed yet sophisticated atmosphere. It's an ideal place for meeting up with friends, having a casual business meeting, or even treating yourself to a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. The café often hosts live music events and occasional art shows, making it a cultural hub in the area. These events are a great way to unwind, enjoy some local talent, and add a unique touch to your visit.

As for location, Café Cognito’s spot on St Swithin Street is prime. It’s easy to get to, whether you’re walking around the city center or driving through. Whether you’re a fan of traditional comfort food or seeking something a little more adventurous, you'll find dishes that leave a lasting impression. Their seasonal menu changes often, reflecting the freshest ingredients available, which means there's always something new to try.

I absolutley loved this little cafe. It is so close to our office in Aberdeen and when I visit Aberdeen next I will be sure to go here for lunch! The smoothy was amazing and just what I needed on a really hot day. The Panini was super tasty with a good amount of filling and not over priced, and lastly the Malteser bar was too die for ... Staff were so friendly and helpful when I went in to order. I was however lucky to get a seat because it was so busy. It might just be a good idea to avoid prime time ... I highly recommend!

Loved my panini for lunch today followed by ice cream with little bag of yummy toppings. It was so nice and warm today I decided to sit outside on the patio. Very comfy chairs and outside bin to put all of my rubbish in to keep my table clear. Enjoyed my visit very much and next time I think I might have one of their yummy looking cakes!!
